Its Easter Day!

Happy Easter Day!

From what I've learned in my history classes back in the days that on this day Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians believe according to scriptures, that Jesus Christ came back to life after three days of his death on the cross. The death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin.

On that note let us all share the warm and wonderful spirit of Spring and Easter with this beautiful poem "May the love of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, surround you, protect you and guide you in everything you do on this holy day and always"!

"Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" ( KJV) John 1:29

I was just getting out of the binge drinking from St. Patrcik's day when yesterday my Indian friend gave me a drink (they call it "Bhaang" sure it kocks you out with a bang.) And now the Easter beer fest & feast. Man.. I love the month of March.

This is the holiest month for Christians and hope our children get a chance to learn spirituality.

The long weekend is too short folks, enjoy.

I just love coming back to this blog. Keep it alive

Unfortunately the significance of our religious celebrations are being lost. People just take it as another long week end. I remember those days when we were kids going Easter Egg hunting, attending church service & then the family meal.

Hello Folks,

Hope all of you enjoyed the long week-end. So excited to be back here. Sorry..I was away on an extended Spring break, eeps ! you got it; the collegiate ritual & the parental horror show.
Some of my friends were snowbirds from Burlington and we headed to South Beach- Miami. Boasting white sandy beaches, the unique Art Deco District and a night club scene with a reputation for glitz and glamour, South Beach is the place to see and be seen. Where else can you find air thick with the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke that wafted onto the avenue from the neighborhood's nightclubs at 4.00 AM ?? It’s always more entertaining to watch people act the fool rather than to be one.

Thinkpad,
South Beach is really fun, hot weather, hot people. Can't forget those belly crawls, bikini contests & drinking beer from funnel.
